Job summary

Bucks County Surgical Suites Highpoint is hiring an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide bedside and intraoperative care in the surgical suite. You will position and prep patients, circulate cases, and assess and plan care for all age groups under established standards.

Collaboration with physicians, patients, families, and interdepartmental teams is essential. Requirements include graduation from an accredited RN program, PA RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS within one year of hire, and

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active PA RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS required upon hire and within one year of hiring date.
• Ability to Scrub and Circulate as needed.
• One year experience required intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment

Eligible for a Sign-on Bonus up to $7,500.00

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

The OR RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The OR RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for all age patients in operating room. Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. May have additional responsibilities as designated by the Nurse Manager of the Operating Room and/or Director of Nursing, which include, but are not limited to, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement audits and projects.

Qualifications
