Travel Nursing Job Details

• Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel OR RN)
• Location: Bozeman, Montana 59715
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital Operating Room (OR)
• Start Date: October 6, 2025
• End Date: January 5, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880-$2020
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts with on-call requirements

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum 18 months of recent RN experience (at least 1 year in the Operating Room)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Bachelor's, Associate's, or Diploma)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• ACLS certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Preferred: Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credential
• Preferred: 1 year circulating nurse experience
• Preferred: 1 year scrub nurse experience
• Must reside at least 90 miles from the Bozeman facility

OR RN Responsibilities

• Collect and assess comprehensive patient data relevant to surgical and perioperative care
• Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses and patient needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care for surgical patients
• Promote patient safety and employ evidence-based strategies in the operating room
• Enhance the quality and effectiveness of clinical nursing practice
• Evaluate nursing practice in accordance with professional standards and hospital guidelines
• Collaborate with patients, families, surgeons, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Integrate ethical principles and current research into perioperative nursing practice
• Provide leadership and mentorship within the clinical setting
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and ongoing stroke competency education
