Job summary

Sun Health's La Loma Village in Litchfield Park, AZ, is hiring a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join a compassionate team. The RN will lead CNAs, administer medications, and ensure quality resident care according to policy and regulations.

Ideal candidates graduate from accredited RN programs, are licensed in Arizona, and hold a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. This role emphasizes ethics, teamwork, and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Currently licensed in the State of Arizona.
• Possess a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
• Experience in a care-setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician; evaluates effectiveness.
• Directs and assigns the work of CNAs on their shift and assists with evaluations.
• Documents resident care plans and notifies physicians and families of changes in condition.
• Maintains unit records in accordance with facility policy and regulations.
• Coordinates resident care with dietary and diagnostic/therapeutic services.

Records and is responsible for carrying out physicians' orders in a timely manner.Responsible to organize evaluation of resident condition. Notifies physicians, Director of Nursing Services, and family member of any changes in condition.Coordinates residents care with Dietary and/or any diagnostic or therapeutic services.Administers medications and treatments as ordered by the physician; and evaluates the effectiveness of such. Aware of and watching for adverse reactions and give the proper follow-up.Maintains unit records in accordance with facility policy.
