Job summary

Main Line Health, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Weekend OR Nurse program at Lankenau Medical Center. You will scrub and circulate across multiple specialties in a high-volume OR setting.

We support ongoing education with tuition reimbursement of up to $6,000 per year for full- or part-time staff, and opportunities to join Nursing Committees and Clinical Ladder programs to develop your career.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience.
• RN Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• PA RN license or a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate cases in OR (General, Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, Robotics, etc.) with surgeons.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes.
• Pursue certifications or advanced nursing degrees via Tuition Reimbursement Program (up to $6,000/year).
• Join Nursing Committees, Unit Councils and Clinical Ladder programs.

Working Three out of Four Weekends per Month as a Staff Nurse in the Operating Room will offer you the experience of collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. In our 14 Operating Rooms, you would work alongside our world-renowned Surgeons to scrub and circulate the many different cases we perform. Specialties include but are not limited to: General, Urology, Orthopedics, Neuro, Plastics, Vascular, Robotics, etc.

Shift:

7:00am - 7:00pm. Three out of Four Weekends per Month, Saturday and Sunday

Experience

At Least One (1) Year of Operating Room Nurse Experience Required.

Education:

RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

• 1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
• 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
