Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. The RN reports to the Nurse Manager and is supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which they are assigned.

The position requires active RN licensure, BLS, and OR experience; travel assignments offered with competitive weekly pay and full-time hours. Benefits include health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state practiced.
• One year OR experience in acute care preferred in the last three years.
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and/or circulate for operative procedures in the OR.
• Assist with department admissions to the operative suite and report to the Nurse Manager.

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices

• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred

• Current BLS card.

• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)

• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
