Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center who embodies our values by caring like family. You will contribute your expertise in circulating or scrub roles, ensuring safe and effective nursing care until your patient is transferred to recovery.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing OR instrument and equipment setup, including preference cards and anticipating surgeon needs.
• Coordinating and overseeing your room during procedures as the circulator.
• Facilitating efficient transitions between surgical procedures.
• Using proper body mechanics to move patients safely.
• Managing patient care and medications, including anesthesia assistance.
• Reviewing charts for completeness according to protocols before and after procedures.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Active RN license, or appropriate compact licensure.
• Valid BCLS certification (online certification not accepted).
• ACLS certification as required.
• CNOR certification preferred.
