OR- Registered Nurse-Emergency Room, NightsWkndsFloat(12-Hour Shifts),Must have (AHA)ACLS & (AHA)PALS Certifications Coos Bay

Join our team as an OR- Registered Nurse - Emergency Room in Coos Bay, OR. This position involves night shifts, weekends, and floating shifts of 12 hours each. Candidates must hold current (AHA) ACLS and PALS certifications.

Position Details

• Start Date: 6/3/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Location: Coos Bay, OR 97420
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend & On-Call Requirements: TBA
• COVID-19/Flu Policy: COVID vaccination no longer required
• Additional Notes: 16 hours unbillable, OT at 1.25x BR, client can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13 weeks

Responsibilities

Within the scope of practice defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, the RN will:

1. Apply the nursing process to patient care
2. Educate patients and families
3. Document care accurately
4. Collaborate with the healthcare team for effective patient care

Requirements

• Recent (within 2 years) acute care hospital experience
• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience
• Willingness to obtain required certifications and licenses if not active

Certifications Needed

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)
• PALS (AHA)
• TNCC (preferred but not mandatory)

License Requirements

• Oregon license (or willingness to obtain)
