Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to assigned patients in a 12X3 Day shift.

The RN will perform the nursing process, deliver direct and indirect patient care, and support the hospital's mission and goals. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current BLS, Texas RN license or eligibility, and at least 12 months of RN experience.

Qualifications

• RN experience (12 months) required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Texas nursing license or eligibility to practice is required.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards and promotes a cooperative work environment via communication and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for nursing components of patient/family care.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment and ensures accurate documentation.
• Administers medications and IVs safely and timely.
• Uses the nursing process to provide quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
