Job summary

Henry Ford Health is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to join our team in Macomb County. This full-time role offers day shifts with two 8s and two 12s, focusing on leading and coordinating high-quality patient care in a busy OR environment.

You will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while delegating, supervising, and documenting for patients and families. Collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to meet patient goals.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS) or completed within 3 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
• Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
