UF Health Leesburg Hospital in Leesburg, FL seeks an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to support a 12‑room surgical suite. You will perform nursing assessments, implement evidence‑based care plans, and collaborate with a world‑class team in a high‑volume perioperative setting.

Qualifications include Diploma or ASN in Nursing and a Florida RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS. 1 year Med/Surg or CCU experience is preferred; circulating and CVOR experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ASN in Nursing required.
• Florida RN license required (or valid Compact multi-state license).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Utilize the nursing process to assess and plan patient care.
• Implement and evaluate individualized perioperative care plans.
• Circulate and scrub complex surgical cases in a 12‑room OR suite.
• Maintain readiness for after-hours and weekend emergency cases.

Under the direction of the leadership team, the Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) utilizes the nursing process to facilitate comprehensive patient care. In this role, you will perform nursing assessments, formulate and implement evidence-based care plans, and collaborate with a world-class team in our high-volume, 12-OR suite.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience

  • Education: Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
  • Experience: 1 year of Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) or Critical Care experience is preferred.
  • Preferred Specialties: Prior Circulating and CVOR RN experience is highly preferred.

  Licensure & Certifications

  • Active, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse (RN) License (or valid Compact multi-state license).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
