Job summary

Generis Tek, Inc. is seeking a Regional Pharmacy Manager for Newport, OR. This 13-week contract role focuses on ensuring quality services across Pharmacy Departments, with day shifts and no weekends.

You will lead planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating department activities while ensuring compliant medication preparation, dispensing, and patient education, under a robust management framework.

Qualifications

• Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency or ASHP-accredited residency in pharmacy practice with experience.
• Two years pharmacist experience or one year leadership experience plus one year pharmacist experience.
• Leadership experience required.
• All offers contingent on passing pre-employment drug screen.
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain management controls to ensure efficient, effective delivery of quality services by Pharmacy Departments.

Location : Newport, OR 97365

Duration : 13 weeks Contract

Pay Range : $80- $81/hr

Shift : Days (08:00 - 16:30) no weekends

Job Summary

To maintain a system of management controls to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of quality services by employees in assigned Pharmacy Departments. To assist the employees of Pharmacy departments and be responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating of the functions, activities and costs within the department. Prepares and dispenses medication; assesses clinical status of patients. Provides drug information to the medical team. Educates patients.

Experience/Education/Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon Pharmacist Licensure required.
• One (1) of the following required:
• Satisfactory completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency.
• Satisfactory completion of an ASHP-accredited residency in pharmacy practice plus one (1) year pharmacist experience.
• Two (2) years pharmacist experience.
• One (1) year leadership experience plus one (1) year pharmacist experience.
• Leadership experience required.
