Job Opportunity: Operating Room X-Ray Technologist

Join our Imaging team at North Central, a facility opened in 2005 with 14 Operating Rooms and 30 Medical/Surgical Patient Rooms, located at Walnut Hill & 75 in the prestigious NorthPark area. Our specialties include Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, Podiatry, and Bariatric surgeries. Managed by United Surgical Partners International and Joint Commission Accredited.

Position Details:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday, 10:30 am - 7 pm in the OR and HOPD, with potential variation.
  • On-call rotation of 4-5 shifts per month.
  • Potential eligibility for Sign-On Bonus.

Job Summary:

The OR X-Ray Radiology Technologist will set up sterile trays and assist radiologists during procedures such as myelograms, arthrograms, aspirations, and steroid injections. Responsibilities also include performing emergent X-rays from the ED and inpatient areas, as well as routine X-rays for walk-in patients. The department is fast-paced, requiring flexibility, effective time management, good communication, and a positive attitude.

  • Experience with C-arm (large and mini), O-arm, Portable Digital Equipment is preferred
  • Current BLS certification
  • Valid Texas Medical Board license
  • Preferably 3 years of hospital experience
  • Knowledge of local, state, federal, and Joint Commission regulations
