Responsibilities

• Supports Operating Room by providing Radiology guidance for cases.
• Trouble-shoots equipment related issues as needed.
• Inserts intravenous lines in preparation for radiologic studies.
• Performs imaging for various studies requiring contrast medium.
• Provides assistance with patient transportation.

Skills

Knowledge of Radiology protocols

Ability to deal tactfully with patients

Understanding of sterile techniques

Emergency response skills

Education

Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Certified in cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
