Job summary

Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking an OR Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment for surgical procedures in a perioperative setting. You will review requests, ensure proper patient identification, and apply QA to deliver timely, high-quality imaging.

Role requires ARRT licensure or equivalent, familiarity with safety standards, and capacity to train new staff. Multiple full-time day and swing shifts with competitive compensation are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved discipline specific program (Required).
• ARRT licensure or equivalent radiologic technologist certification is required.
• Knowledge of radiology safety practices and image QA.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for surgical procedures.
• Review exam requests and patient ID to ensure safe, appropriate imaging.
• Apply radiology skills to ensure timely exam completion and quality standards.
• Provide radiation protection for patients, staff and self per safety standards.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff.
• Other duties as assigned within the perioperative imaging scope.
