Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking an OR Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging in the operating room during intraoperative procedures. You will operate imaging equipment such as O-Arm, c-arms and mini c-arms, and coordinate with surgeons to provide radiology guidance for specific cases.

Responsibilities include ensuring device connectivity with imaging systems and collaborating with OR staff while maintaining patient safety and image quality.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiology Technician in CT radiology (state credential)
• ARRT-credentialed Radiology Technician required prior to hire
• Associates in Radiology as minimum degree
• Specialized OR and Fluoroscopic procedure training completed

Position Summary:

The OR Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures. Our OR Radiologic Technologists operate specialized imaging equipment such as O-Arm, c-arms and mini c-arms and performs double c-arm cases. It is expected you will have knowledge of imaging equipment connectivity with intraoperative navigation and robotic devices and troubleshoots device connection with imaging equipment. You will collaborate with surgeons and other OR staff to ensure radiology guidance is available and appropriate for specific OR cases. As a Radiologic Technologist in the OR, you may perform imaging for ERCP/GI exams and cardiac ICU catheter placements as needed.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Radiology Technician specializing in Radiology credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Radiology Technician specializing in Radiology credentialed fromthe American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior tohire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Associates in Radiology: Minimum Degree Required

Work Experience:

• Successful completion of specialized training in OR and Fluoroscopic procedures
