The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking an OR Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging in the operating room and assist with intra-operative procedures using O-Arm and C-arm systems. You will collaborate with surgeons and OR staff to ensure radiology guidance is available and appropriate for each case.

Ideal candidates hold a CT license and ARRT credential, with an Associates in Radiology and targeted OR/fluoroscopic training.

Competenze

• Licensed Radiology Technician with state license.
• ARRT registered radiology technologist.
• Associates degree in Radiology or equivalent.
• Specialized OR and fluoroscopic procedure training.

Mansioni

• Perform radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures.

Position Summary:

The OR Radiologic Technologist performs radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures. Our OR Radiologic Technologists operate specialized imaging equipment such as O-Arm, c-arms and mini c-arms and performs double c-arm cases. It is expected you will have knowledge of imaging equipment connectivity with intraoperative navigation and robotic devices and troubleshoots device connection with imaging equipment. You will collaborate with surgeons and other OR staff to ensure radiology guidance is available and appropriate for specific OR cases. As a Radiologic Technologist in the OR, you may perform imaging for ERCP/GI exams and cardiac ICU catheter placements as needed.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Radiology Technician specializing in Radiology credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Radiology Technician specializing in Radiology credentialed fromthe American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior tohire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Associates in Radiology: Minimum Degree Required

Work Experience:

• Successful completion of specialized training in OR and Fluoroscopic procedures
