Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist OR Specialist to perform intraoperative imaging and real-time guidance during procedures. You will operate OR imaging equipment, document exams, and support surgeons with high-quality images.

The role emphasizes radiation safety, sterile technique, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Requires ARRT-R certification within 12 months, BLS, and graduation from an accredited radiologic technology

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required.
• ARRT-R Radiography must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology; Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
• 1 year post-graduate experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates department imaging equipment safely and adheres to radiation safety protocols.
• Implements proper exposure techniques and positioning for images.
• Documents all imaging procedures and maintains patient records.
• Operates intraoperative CT and C-Arms (including 3D) during procedures.
• Maintains sterile field and aseptic technique while imaging in the OR.
• Provides real-time imaging support to surgeons and assists with hardware placement.
