Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut is seeking an OR Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures. You will operate O-Arm, c-arms and mini c-arms, and troubleshoot device connections with imaging equipment.

You will collaborate with surgeons and OR staff to ensure appropriate radiology guidance for specific cases and may perform imaging for ERCP/GI exams and cardiac ICU catheter placements as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiology Technician credentialed by the Connecticut Department of Public Health.
• ARRT registered Radiologic Technologist credentialed prior to hire date.
• Associates degree in Radiology is the minimum requirement.
• Successful completion of specialized training in OR and Fluoroscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic imaging in the operating room during intra-operative procedures.
• Operates O-Arm, c-arms and mini c-arms; understands connectivity with navigation devices.
• Collaborates with surgeons and OR staff to ensure imaging guidance is available for cases.
• May image ERCP/GI exams and cardiac ICU catheter placements as needed.
