Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit, MI is seeking a Radiographer - OR Advanced Procedures to join the Operating Room team. Under the direct supervision of a Surgeon or Interventional Radiologist, you assist during diagnostic and interventional procedures by performing scrub or circulator functions while obtaining high quality imaging.

You will manage the operation and maintenance of angiographic equipment, determine imaging techniques and patient positioning, and enforce safety practices in the OR

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ARRT radiography registration required.
• VI registry or eligibility required within 12 months.
• BCLS certification required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures as scrub or circulator.
• Obtain high quality diagnostic imaging in the OR.
• Operate and maintain angiographic equipment and supplies.
• Follow department protocols and safety practices.
• Determine imaging techniques and patient positioning for each case.
