Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is accepting applications for a Radiologic Technologist to operate diagnostic radiography equipment in Smyrna, GA. The role involves performing routine imaging procedures and delivering patient-centered care across all ages, including neonatal to geriatric populations.

The ideal candidate holds AMA/JRCERT accredited training, ARRT registration, BCLS certification, and at least 2 years of experience in radiology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Two years of radiology experience required.
• ARRT registration upon hire and BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic radiographs following standards.
• Provides patient services using imaging modalities and age-specific care.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advanced imaging (fluoroscopy and lumbar punctures).
• Delivers technical care to meet identified patient needs.

Responsibilities:

Operates radiologic equipment to make clinical diagnostic radiographs and performs routine diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices. Provide patient services using imaging modalities. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance diagnostic imaging (Fluoroscopy and Lumbar punctures). Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
