Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room Peri-Op Program. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality perioperative care, supporting various OR services and ensuring patient safety throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians and the care team to implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing is required.
• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care required.
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support certifications preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative setting.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered perioperative care per policies.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and post-discharge instructions.
• Maintains infection control standards and patient safety.
