Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center - Collier Campus is seeking an RN for the Operating Room Peri-Op Program. The role focuses on patient-centered perioperative care across multiple OR services, with a 2-year agreement and 5x8 shifts including on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, administering medications, and collaborating with surgeons and teams to ensure safe, efficient procedures and positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Utilizes nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Adheres to clinical protocols and physician orders.
• Coordinates care with physicians, nurses, and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per policies and nursing process.
• Documents assessments and reports changes to care team.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code team.
