Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Registered Nurse to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for individuals and families. The RN is fully responsible for all licensed actions and accountable for quality of care delivered.

Essential duties include clinical leadership, mentoring, delegation based on patient needs, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, promoting patient safety, and ongoing professional development in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• CPR certification.
• Preferred: Certification in area of specialty.
• Background clearances as required (Act 34/33/73).
• Compliance with HIPAA and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide transformational leadership in a professional practice setting by advancing patient care.
• Delegate tasks based on patient needs and staff competencies; support charge roles.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate clinical care or health services.
• Promote patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts.
