Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures, and for department admissions to the operative suite. The nurse reports to the Nurse Manager and is supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which they are assigned.

Location options include Harvey, IL and Chicago, IL, with contracts that are part-time and travel oriented.

Qualifications

• One year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred.
• Current BLS card.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

Responsibilities

• Scrub and/or circulate during operative procedures.
• Assist with department admissions to the operative suite.
• Report to Nurse Manager and be directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which assigned.
