Qualifications

Current RN license to practice in Missouri.
ACLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
BCLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure.
Prepare patients with IV therapy, preoperative meds and site verification.
Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
Respond to patient emergencies with safe, evidence-based care.
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient flow and safety.
