Job summary

Specialty Surgery Center, LLC in Las Vegas, NV seeks an experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to lead OR nurses, surgical technicians and central sterile staff, delivering high-quality, efficient patient care in our ambulatory surgery center.

You will manage daily operations, staffing, and compliance with clinical standards, while partnering with the Administrator to drive performance and staff development. Opportunities for growth, mentorship, and certification support are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an operating room setting, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Active RN license as required by state of employment or appropriate compact licensure.
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).
• ACLS as required by facility.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all surgical areas of care.
• Establish and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with the Administrator.
• Ensure day-to-day operations comply with clinical practice standards and policies.
• Ensure sufficient staffing daily by notifying your team of scheduling changes.
• Participate in monitoring and evaluating nursing care.
• Provide staff with breaks and coverage for meals, late cases, and shortages.
• Monitor materials for upcoming cases and ensure readiness.
• Facilitate efficient transitions between surgical procedures.
• Delegate, coach, mentor and handle conflict resolution with the team.
• Demonstrate leadership to earn trust and respect from staff.
