Mercy is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Main Operating Room in a Level I Trauma Center and Burn Center with 27 operating rooms. The role provides 24-hour leadership for safe, high-quality patient care and strong operational performance.

You will lead staffing, develop teams, and drive safety, quality, and patient satisfaction while aligning with the Nursing Strategic Plan and organizational standards. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Current RN license.
BSN required.
Progressive perioperative leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations of a complex, high-volume surgical services department.
Develop staffing plans, schedules, and resource allocation to support patient care needs.
Foster a culture of safety, quality, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
Partner with interdisciplinary teams to improve workflow, remove barriers, and enhance care delivery.
Monitor quality metrics and implement evidence-based practices to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
Recruit, develop, coach, and retain a highly engaged perioperative team.
Support professional development, competency management, and performance excellence.
Align departmental goals and initiatives with organizational and Nursing Strategic Plans.
