Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an OR Materials Specialist to ensure par-level OR inventory, streamline inventory procedures, and manage auto replenishment to maintain adequate stock. The role also leads patient care initiatives including the Inpatient Perioperative Gainsharing Program, Green Projects and Reprocessing initiatives.

• Five years of operating room supply, sterile supply or business inventory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure OR inventory meets par level requirements.
• Improve flow and standardize OR inventory procedures to ensure consistency and control.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Five years of operating room supply, sterile supply or business inventory experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
