Job summary

Fisher-Titus in Norwalk, OH is seeking a LPN/Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room. You will support surgeons, anesthesia personnel and nurses, assisting in sterile technique and instrument counts to ensure patient safety and efficient case flow.

The role requires completion of an accredited LPN program, current CST certification, CPR, and active LPN licensure in Ohio. This is a full-time, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package and strong emphasis on teamwork and patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
• Graduate of an accredited LPN program with Current CST certification.
• BCLS Certification or within 12 months of hire.
• LPN Licensure maintained.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of techniques and procedures used by surgeons for various surgeries.
• Assembles and troubleshoots equipment and instrumentation.
• Ensures all necessary equipment and instruments are in the room prior to the start of a case.
• Maintains sterile techniques and asepsis; communicates breaks in technique to circulating RN and surgeon.
• Counts sponges, needles and instruments with RN; aids in specimen handling and labeling.
