Job Summary
The OR Interventional Technologist performs various roles involved in interventional imaging procedures, in accordance with departmental policies, to ensure best possible patient care services.
Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities
- Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost‑effective imaging.
- Applies broad range of skills to ensure exams are completed timely and meet quality and compliance standards.
- Provides appropriate interventional screening to patients, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
- Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.
- These responsibilities are a general overview; additional duties may be assigned.
Technical Capabilities
- Radiology (Novice): Demonstrates sufficient fundamental proficiency in moderate‑difficulty radiology services.
- Anatomy & Physiology Knowledge (Novice): Demonstrates sufficient fundamental proficiency in moderate‑difficulty anatomy and physiology.
- Patient Documentation (Novice): Demonstrates sufficient fundamental proficiency in moderate‑difficulty documentation, generally working under direction of others while accomplishing assignments.
- Compliance (Novice): Can explain and apply basic statutory instructions on the job, understands principles of rules and regulations, and appropriately escalates related problems in a timely manner.

Position Qualifications
- Certifications:
- LIC – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Licensure‑Others
- Work experience: Relevant work experience.
- Experience level: 1 year.
- Education: Graduate of an approved discipline‑specific program (required).
