An established industry player is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform complex imaging procedures under surgical guidance. This role involves using advanced imaging modalities like Mobile Fluoroscopy and Computed Tomography to assist in various surgical cases. Responsible for performing routine to complex diagnostic technical procedures under the direction of a surgeon to provide imaging guidance utilizing multiple modalities including standard X-ray imaging, Mobile Fluoroscopy and Mobile Computed Tomography (CT) O-arm and Siemens CIOS SPIN in a sterile environment. Must provide knowledge and be able to operate the c-arm for orthopedic trauma cases, complex scoliosis spine cases, along with general cases. Must perform as a technical specialist providing high level of imaging knowledge to the surgical environment and supports new technology as it interfaces with imaging platforms. Operation of ARTIS Pheno hybrid IR and Vascular imaging rooms. Able to produce and modify quality post operative imaging and be able to identify appropriate anatomy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position Compensation Range: $30.13 - $48.21 Hourly
Education: Graduate of an accredited JRC program in Radiography required. Associate’s Degree in Radiography preferred. Students currently enrolled in accredited programs may proactively apply for open tech positions, but must have achieved certification prior to planned start date.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.) must be accomplished prior to planned start date. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. Valid Virginia Driver’s License (VADL) may be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping and traveling, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
