Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an OR EVS Associate in Idaho Falls to support perioperative patient-care environments and sustain efficient care delivery.

You will assist nursing staff, maintain clean, stocked rooms, and help orient patients. Responsibilities include clerical tasks and transporting patients while following safety protocols and infection control standards.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff in patient care per skills and department needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment; stock rooms and carts.
• Ensure rooms are ready for new admits and orient patients to rooms.
• Escort and orient patients to rooms as needed.
• Follow safety protocols including hand hygiene, universal precautions, PPE, and isolation procedures.
• Perform clerical tasks as needed (charts, filing, phones, messages).
• Transport patients to and from hospital or unit and upon discharge.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As the OR Aide you will be efficient and effective in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings. Our team is amazing and we consider ourselves a family, we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.

In this role:

• You will assist the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with your skills/training and the needs of the department.

• You will consistently maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment assisting unit secretaries in making sure rooms/carts are adequately stocked and prepared.

• You will assure patient’s rooms are ready for new admits.

• You will escort and orients patients to rooms.

• You will follow patient and employee safety/security policies and protocols, including hand hygiene, use of universal precautions, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to isolation procedures.

• You will perform clerical work as needed, including assembling and maintaining charts, filing, answering and transferring phones, and relaying messages.

• You will transport patients to and from various hospital and/or nursing units and upon discharge.
