Job summary

Tahoe Forest Health System is seeking a full-time OR Cleaning Aide to thoroughly clean and disinfect the operating room and equipment, ensuring a sterile environment between cases and during terminal cleaning. The role also supports cleaning of lounges, offices, restrooms, corridors, and other surgical department areas.

Candidates must be able to lift and move equipment, follow infection-control protocols, and work with the surgical team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect Operating Rooms and equipment between cases.
• Disinfect pre-operative and post-operative areas and sterile storage.
• Operate UV robot for area disinfection per instructions.
• Maintain cleanliness of Surgical Services department and related spaces.
• Report maintenance issues to leadership.
