Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an experienced registered nurse to serve as a OR clinical expert within the Surgical Services team. The role includes education, research, coaching, direct patient care, consultation, and ethical decision making to support staff and patients.

Responsibilities include acting as a change agent to promote quality through clinical expertise, and communicating staffing needs, patient care issues, and staff concerns to leaders as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license in Georgia (or multistate license) required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (AORN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide education, research, coaching, direct care, consultation, leadership collaboration and ethical decision making for patients and surgical services staff.
• Promote quality through clinical expertise and act as a change agent when staffing or caseload demands.
• Communicate patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leaders.
