Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is hiring an OR Circulator RN to join our team in Fort Worth, TX. You will evaluate patients pre-surgery, educate families about peri-operative care, and manage preoperative interventions including IV therapy and medication administration.

You will participate in site verification and lead efforts that support safe patient care as part of a collaborative surgical team. The role requires an RN license in Texas (or eligibility), current BLS and ACLS, and PALS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree is required; BSN preferred, BSN will be required within 3 years of employment.
• One year of experience is required.
• RN license to practice in Texas or eligible.
• Current BLS and ACLS required from an HCA approved vendor.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education surrounding peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy, preoperative meds and surgical site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification per hospital policy.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while applying evidence-based practices.
• Be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team.
• Apply nursing process and leadership to deliver safe care.
• Monitor patient condition and document changes.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions and follow-up measures.
