Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across ages in the operating room and PACU. You will support surgeons and anesthesiologists, manage equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years OR/PACU experience, a Texas RN license, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within six months. English communication is essential; on-call shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operating Room and PACU preferred.
• Graduate nurse with current Texas RN license; BLS required.
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of employment.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to pediatric through geriatric populations.
• Communicates with surgeon and anesthesiologist about patient condition.
• Assists with maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory.
• Assesses operating room readiness and obtains supplies for cases.
• Monitors, positions and assists patient during procedures.
