Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking an experienced RN for operating room circulator and post‑op recovery duties. You will coordinate care across Pre‑op, PACU and OR, directing staff to maintain high nursing standards.

Must demonstrate age-appropriate care for surgical patients and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Preferred BSN, RN license in Virginia or a compact state, and certification prerequisites like BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia or a compact state.
• BLS ACLS & PALS within six months of hire.
• Minimum of one year RN experience; PACU/OR experience preferred.
• CPAN, CAPA, CNOR, or Cardiac Monitoring certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as the OR circulator and post-op recovery nurse.
• Coordinate all aspects of the medical plan and nursing standards of care.
• Direct and guide activities of other personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
• Apply care as described in department policies and procedures and adapt to age-specific needs.
