Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an OR RN to provide professional nursing care in the operating room. You will work Monday–Friday, 06:30–15:00, with on-call and holiday call requirements, and gain experience across OR circulator and related roles.

Graduates with a Texas nursing license and BLS certification are encouraged to apply. OR experience is preferred, and growth within MHHS is supported through continuing education and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Current Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care per nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinates care planning with interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Develops and implements discharge and transfer plans.
• Participates in program evaluation, process improvement and patient outcomes.
• Ensures service standards and optimizes patient experience for all ages.
• May serve as preceptor or mentor to less experienced staff.
