Job summary

Redefine Healthcare in Hackensack, NJ is seeking an OR Circulator Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time and per diem roles. The position offers hourly pay between $50 and $55, with 40 hours per week and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will provide nursing care before, during, and after procedures, ensure patient safety and advocacy, and maintain sterile, ready procedure rooms. Experience in OR/ASC settings is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in operating room/procedure room/ASC or similar procedural setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Serve as the OR Circulator, ensuring patient safety and advocacy at all times.
• Prepare and maintain procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and sterility.
• Perform pre-operative assessments, including IV insertion, vital signs, medication administration, and medical history documentation.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures in collaboration with physicians, anesthesia, and procedural staff.
• Accurately document procedural events in SIS EMR.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring, patient education, and discharge instructions.
• Communicate patient status updates to family members as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain procedure room readiness and oversee patient, staff, and vendor traffic to reduce infection risk.
• Respect patient rights to privacy, dignity, and confidentiality
