Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center – Pine Ridge and Collier campuses seeks an OR Circulator RN to support evening operations in a lead capacity based on experience. The role focuses on comprehensive patient care before, during, and after surgery with emphasis on safety and teamwork.

You will scrub in for surgeries, monitor vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a sterile, efficient environment and optimal patient outcomes. Active RN licensure is required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in clinical nursing or student rotations in acute care.
• RN licensure in state or compact licensure is required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and established protocols.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures and participate in care planning.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies, including CPR and code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care.
