Job summary

Jobot is hiring a Full-time, permanent Registered Nurse - OR Circulator to join our award-winning surgery center in Connecticut, focusing on orthopedics. This day-shift role offers 4x10s or 5x8s, with no call, no weekends, and no holidays, plus a $5K sign-on and lunch provided daily.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, CT RN license, and at least 2 years of circulating experience (1 year orthopedics), with current BLS and ACLS. CNOR preferred; comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current Connecticut RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of circulating experience, including at least 1 year in orthopedics.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the operating room for surgery, setting up instruments and equipment, maintaining sterile conditions.
• Verifying patient identity and reviewing procedures to prevent errors.
• Assessing patients pre-operatively and providing reassurance.
• Assisting surgeons during surgery by passing instruments and supplies.
• Coordinating with the surgical team to ensure patient safety during the operation.
• Monitoring vital signs and maintaining patient safety during procedures.
• Coordinating post-operative care and room turnover.
• Documenting actions and communicating care needs.
• Engaging in ongoing education to maintain competency.
