Job summary

Methodist Hospital is seeking an Operating Room (OR) Circulator RN to join our Surgical team and help us deliver safe, high-quality care to patients and families.

The RN – OR Circulator will manage patient care episodes, coordinating with care teams and supervising care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other staff. Position includes 0.9 FTE, 12-hour day/evening shifts, with weekend rotation, call on off shifts, and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing; minimum of Associate degree/Diploma in Nursing required.
• New grads not considered.
• Must meet at least one of the following requirements: 2+ years OR 1.5+ years OR 1+ year OR new to OR with Periop 101 enrollment; Periop 101 Tuition Reimbursement may be available.
• Valid Minnesota RN license and BLS provider status per AHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage the episode of patient care in partnership with patients, families, and all care providers to deliver safe, quality health care.
• Provide direct RN care or coordinate/supervise care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed personnel.
