Job summary
Virginia Eye Consultants, based in Norfolk, VA, seeks an Registered Nurse (RN) for OR Circulating duties. The role involves planning, delivering, and documenting patient care in alignment with standards and policies, while maintaining a safe environment and HIPAA compliance.
The ideal candidate possesses an accredited nursing degree, Rn license in Virginia, BLS certification, and 1 year of OR/ASC/PACU or related experience. Full benefits are offered and a competitive base pay with DOE.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- One year of previous nursing experience in OR/ASC/PACU or related settings preferred
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and document nursing care per standards and policies
- Supervise and direct patient care in the Operating Room
- Maintain patient records and HIPAA compliance
- Assist in training new staff and participate in quality initiatives
