Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Sterling Heights, MI seeks an Experienced Circulator in the Operating Room to support a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, three days one week and two days the next, totaling ~40 hours per payroll period. This part-time role focuses on safe, efficient surgical care and uses the nursing process to plan and deliver patient care.

You'll join a team dedicated to patient safety and high-quality outcomes, with opportunities to contribute to perioperative services at Lakeside facilities.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Communicate pertinent patient information to the health care team and family.
• Participate in solving variances from patient goals and ensure solution implementation.
