United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks an OR Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to maintain continuity and quality of care in the operating room. You will supervise perioperative nursing, assist physicians, and ensure patient safety before, during, and after anesthesia.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited RN degree, Georgia nursing license, and CPR/ACLS certification, with 3+ years intra-operative experience and strong leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Current State of Georgia Nursing License.
• Current CPR & ACLS required.
• Minimum 3 years experience preferred intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities.
• Strong communication and workload organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks and conscious sedation.
• Utilize sterile techniques as appropriate.
• Provide post-anesthesia care including assessment, planning, and discharge prep.
• Evaluate patient condition continuously and ensure safety, comfort and privacy.

OR Charge Registered Nurse (OR Charge RN)

The OR Charge Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Current State of Georgia Nursing License
• Current CPR & ACLS required
• Minimum 3 years experience preferred intra-operative setting.
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
