Job summary

HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL is seeking an OR Charge Registered Nurse to provide clinical expertise and leadership in the operating room. You will support surgeons, assess and document intraoperative care, and ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

The role requires Florida RN licensure, a Nursing Diploma or ASN (BSN preferred), BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and at least 1 year of acute care RN experience.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care of intraoperative patients.
• Assist surgeons during operative procedures.
• Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders and provide leadership during shift.
