Job summary

Prime Healthcare in Dallas region seeks an OR Clinical Supervisor RN to oversee surgical services, ensuring a safe, efficient operating room environment. The role supports patients and surgical teams, coordinating staff, schedules, and supplies across the day shift.

The candidate will have strong leadership in acute care OR settings, CNOR/BSN credentials preferred, with a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. Full-time hours and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license
• Current BLS on hire and maintain
• ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintain
• PALS on hire and maintain (preferred)
• CNOR within 2 years (preferred)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff and personnel in the operating room, manage shift schedules, ensure staff preparedness
• Coordinate the daily surgical schedule, staff surgeries, and ensure OR readiness
• Liaise between surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and healthcare professionals
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and surgical checklists to protect patients
• Oversee patient care before, during, and after surgery
• Ensure instruments and supplies are available and functioning, manage inventory and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and accreditation standards
• Document surgery details including patient info, staff assignments, and incidents
