Job summary

HCA Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a Procedural Inventory Technician to manage inventory for the OR, Cath Lab, and IR departments, ensuring timely delivery of supplies and accurate stock levels.

You will collaborate with clinical staff, perform physical inventories, maintain Min/Max levels, and ensure items are barcoded and recorded in the inventory system. A High School Diploma or GED is required, hospital supply experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in inventory management preferred.
• Some hospital supply experience preferred.
• Manage inventory for the OR, Cath Lab, and IR departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory for the OR, Cath Lab, and IR departments.
• Order, receive, stock, and deliver supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to meet supply needs.
• Review and maintain Min/Max inventory levels.
• Conduct physical inventories of POU and Non-POU areas.
• Ensure items have appropriate barcodes and are cross-referenced in the inventory management system.
• React appropriately to stock-outs and critical supply needs.
• Transport and deliver medications and contrast media as required.
