Under the general supervision of the OR Materials Manager, this role is responsible for assembling surgical case carts with appropriate surgical instrumentation, supplies, and implants. Acts as a liaison between OR Materials Management, Sterile Processing Department, and Operating Room staff to ensure smooth daily OR support.
Key responsibilities include using EPIC Optime to print and review OR schedules and preference cards, utilizing SPM for instrument tracking, coordinating with OR staff to select the correct preference cards, preparing supplies and instruments for surgeries, and ensuring proper delivery of supplies. The role also involves inspecting packaging for integrity, collaborating on inventory rotation, supporting procurement with stock updates, and managing substitutions for discontinued or backordered items. The incumbent will identify potential issues proactively, facilitate communication for performance improvement, and perform other related duties as assigned.
Annual full pay range: $54,664 - $67,944 (prorated if less than full-time)
Hourly range: $26.18 - $32.54
