Schedule

Monday to Friday, flexible hours, floating between various imaging and specialty practices in Nassau and parts of Suffolk County.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  2. Explain procedures to patients.
  3. Operate imaging equipment, determine exposure factors, and adjust controls to produce high-quality images.
  4. Practice radiation safety to protect patients and staff.
  5. Perform routine and specialized diagnostic radiology procedures.
  6. Process and review images for quality and proper identification.
  7. Prepare images for radiologist or physician review.
  8. Maintain and troubleshoot radiologic equipment, arranging repairs as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. License or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in New York.
  3. ARRT certification or willingness to obtain within 180 days.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Over 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  2. Experience with Epic EMR software.
  3. Orthopedic experience.

The hourly pay ranges from $23.70 to $46.35, depending on full-time employment, experience, education, and certifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401(k) contributions, subject to eligibility.
